Contribuer aux commentairesSuch a disappointment, we had to leave halfway into the service of the tasting menu. Last time we were there it was excellent and this time it was simply awful. Maybe this is due to change of staff, however the new staff is not up to standard and the Michelin star is like a joke. Really sad expietence as we were so looking forward to another great experience.
Great restaurant including great atmosphere and one of the best wine lists I ever seen. Don’t miss this experience whenever you are close to Costa Brava.
This restaurant serves food of another level. Cannot be compared with any of the good restaurants at the Costa Brava, but goes a level higher. We tried the tartare of oyster with caviar as well as a slow cooked leg of your goat , which melted in the mouth like butter. The wine list is of a superior level, normal wines still go for acceptable prices, however there are expensive to very expensive wines as well. This is uno to the customers choice. The appetizers are special and the sweets as well. Who would ever thing to make turkish delight of mango adding pepper.... The service is excellent and the staff very attentful. It is pricy but you get value for your money
Service was excellent first rate. Overall it was good, not great. Expensive. Sparse tables us that to give diners privacy, because it’s not busy or to enable the kitchen to cope? The food was imaginative and well presented but lacked flavour. Menus were in English Russian. Glitzy but soulless decor
The simplistic ambience without any over the top item ensures a comfortable experience with clear focus on delivering ecstatic food. You can view the chef's love and efforts as he cooks in the workshop like kitchen while you relax at your table. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth watering dishes, would strongly recommend the cabrito (lamb shoulder) and canelon of cigalas, harmoniously paired with regional wine. All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. It was evident the chefs take great care in selecting the best quality ingredients, while the rest of the staff takes excellent care of each guest.
