I've lived in Santa Barbara for decades and this is the first time I've been to Petrini's. It's a jewel! The food was delicious, spaghetti and meatballs, pizza, and even the stroganoff... Yes stroganoff at an Italian restaurant! A great Caesar salad that you can order to share with as many people as you like. The main waitress is wonderful, direct friendly and a little sassy! Prices are reasonable with most items in the 15 to $20 range with a menu that goes on and on and on. Atmosphere is old fashioned neighborhood Italian with checkered tablecloths but not the overly worn and scruffy look that such places sometimes take on. We will certainly go back!

Beautiful Italian decorations, very home feel. Huge portions! Small salad on the side means salad bowl size of regular menu item elsewhere. Sandwich means 2 huge sandwiches like 2 footlong subway sandwiches. Small spaghetti plate means regular normal size spaghetti dish elsewhere We like it! It 's very good Very good prices too, especially considering size of portions. They did take a very long time to take our credit card, but I guess it 's a part of Italian no rush culture haha
