Xevichez Sushi - Santa Clarita

Our friend had told us about this new sushi spot, so we thought we would try. We came to dinner. The place looks cool with a modern twist. We sat at a table. We ordered Mojitos and my friend ordered a false soup as an appetizer. We have our mojitos and we were very disappointed. It had tiny pieces of crushed mint and didn't taste like a true mojito at all. Our waiter seemed preoccupied and irritated by us. He came to take our main order and my friend had not yet received her miso soup. We had asked about our wrong soup and he seemed angry that we asked. He came back with the soup and hit her on the table and left. We got our sushi rolls and they were just okay, nothing special. I think very about price for basic sushi rolls. We were ready to go. We asked for the check and our waiter came back with the check and basically threw him with us. We will not return.

The girl at the front door wasn't very hospitable for food service industry. The sushi was the worst I have ever had, absolutely no flavor, I had to ask for wasabi and condiments. I am sure the place has potential, but the taste of food was awful. Another recommendation is provide a menu with pictures, looking at my phone what to order is unacceptable. Also provide a card with prices that one can fill out so I know what I am ordering.

I have gone to the Valencia location 3 times too many. I gave it a two because I love flavor of all the rolls I have ordered, however the service is terrible..its very very slow even when the restaurant was half empty. The waitress never offered a refill not one time we have been there. In fact the waitresses never even came by to see if we needed anything. We would see the waitress talking to the host every single chance they got. We had to flag down the waitress every time we needed something and when we asked for a refill or napkins or some ginger it would take about 10 to 15 minutes for them to bring it. It also took forever to get out food, i dont know if the kitchen doesn't have enough cooks or if the waitresses were too busy talking to the front host to bring our food earlier. This happened all 3 times we went there. The Sylmar location is way better with service.

The agua-chiles jalapeño rolls are delicious ??My only complaint is one time the agua chiles weren’t compacted very well and would fall apart. Maybe the green salsa was to blame?
