Cafe Mare Nostrum - Santa Pola

Initially the appearance on a roundabout wasn’t that attractive but it seemed popular with locals. We we had the menu of the day for 12 euros it excellent and fantastic value. Staff were pleasant and attentive. We’re going back and highly recommend it!

I would like to give a review of the food at this restaurant but can’t. We took our seats and after asking for a menu we waited over 40 minutes to order. Watching other people order after us and receiving their food we eventually left. This was a December day and not busy. Very poor.

Now our third meal this wee holiday. What a great place the menu isn't that big but so far every dish has been packed with flavour produced by a great wee cook with great produce. But what tips it even more is the friendly attentive service by Christian. Happy to adapt dishes to include what we asked for. He even wanted to turn down his tip.The complementary free tapas of muscles with our first drink was amazing and set the scene for what was to come

Cristian y su padre, los dueños, son unos grandes profesionales. Nos atendieron como si fuésemos de la familia. Realmente es un sitio maravilloso que recomiendo visitar a todo el mundo. La comida buenísima, sobre todo el atún trinchado y los mejillones, y nunca te faltará vino en tu copa. Enhorabuena! Trabajadores natos!

La verdad que lo recomiendo , gran trato por parte de sus trabajadores y la comida muy buena , si le tengo que poner alguna pega que en algún momento han tardado un poco , pero también entiendo que es temporada alta y estaba lleno sin duda volveré
