Glass of marques de Cáceres at €2.40 was great value ; potas bravas €6 excellent value and more than enough for 2-3 people Jalapones pepper very tasty . Always busy but service was attentive

Plaza del canadio where this place is located is full of people drinking on Saturday night. There is a great buzz as is mostly locals. We were lucky enough to get a table out side and we stayed and enjoyed a couple of gin and Tonics. We didn't eat here as we had away had dinner

This place was opened January 2018. The menu is nothing special. Please do not think that it is bad, this is not the case. But the place is not offering something to report “excellent “ nor “very good”. We had pasta Salat which wasn’t bad, but the sauce was based on pink sauce (out of the bottle? . Veal steak was ok too and the deep fried beef slides were good to. Service friendly and decently quick. Nothing to write home about. Correct but average.

Salimos por el centro de Santander, Plaza de Cañadio, queríamos picar algo rico pero no teníamos mucha hambre…… Entramos al Cachalote, nos recomendaron la tortilla de patatas con queso azul y cebolla caramelizada… Buenísima!!!!!!

Ayer teníamos planeado darle una sorpresa a mi padre con una fiesta con 27 invitados. Después de un imprevisto, nos plantamos en este local y, en tiempo récord, el bueno de José Luis nos arregló todo para hacer espacio a una multitud. Nos trajo unas raciones para todos super ricas que encantaron a todo el mundo y estuvo atento durante toda la noche de que no nos faltara de nada. Un detallazo también la música y la foto que nos tomamos con él. Muchas gracias por todo!!
