Agriturismo Casa Mia - Sant'Elena

We decided on impulse to visit the Sant' Elena area of Venice to avoid the early afternoon hordes of tourists around San Marco area. So pleased we did. Not only is the area a tranquil oasis affording peace and quiet in a green and beautiful area, it has very nice cafe in Agriturismo Casa Mia Nicely situated and so peaceful. We sat outside. Great choice of coffees and teas plus some homemade pastries made this a more than pleasant place to spend some time. Unlike some parts of Venice where you're very much aware you're no more than a means to an end in providing a living for bars and cafes, this respite is just that. Very reasonable prices for some high quality coffees and pastries. If you're in the Sant Elena area, it's well worth a visit.
