I gave this restaurant a 5-star rating because I absolutely adore it. Why? The staff is always friendly and the servers do an outstanding job. Why? It has a classic Irish pub atmosphere. Why? The menu is fantastic - featuring wings, burgers, reubens, and more. And the beer selection is extensive!
To be honest, I have to start by saying that we had previously ordered fish and chips from Paddy's restaurant and enjoyed them enough to order them again. The restaurant has a nice terrace, especially on warm sunny days. However, this time was different. The fish was very disappointing - it was so limp that we couldn't even cut it with a knife. We usually don't like to complain about food, but this time we had to mention it to our server. It wasn't their fault, but we felt the cook needed to know how bad the meal was. In hindsight, we should have sent the order back instead of eating the tasteless fish. This was probably one of the worst fish dishes I've ever had, and the price just made the experience even worse. We won't be returning to this restaurant. One person at our table also sent their meal back for some reason, although we're not sure what they had ordered.
The young man who welcomed us and was brought to our table was extremely polite and friendly. The waitress was very friendly, but her entire appearance and her uniform was tasteless. No class. Terrible long nails that should not be allowed when serving. The food wasn't as good as expected. The service was better than the food. We had the house of Hamburger and not alcoholic drinks. The outside table was nice to sit on a beautiful sunny day.
Went here on a recommendation from a local hotel and really enjoyed it. Atmosphere was great, beer was cold and the fish and chips were excellent!
