We had the pork belly poutine to start our tasty meal. I had the next day burger, glorious, i highly recommend it. I can't wait to come back and try the million dollar medallions. We've been back the medallions are great, so are the duck wontons and the pb&j burger is a family favorite!
We ordered three dishes. 4 of their menu items were out of stock. I'm not sure if that was just because they were having an off night, or what was going on. The BBQ Bacon burger my wife ordered was dry and the bacon didn't taste smoked. I had the Black and Blue Mac. The pork medallions were over done and the seasoning of the medallions didn't compliment the complex and rich cheeses used in the Mac and cheese. The wild mushroom quesadilla appetizer was good. The reason for 3 stars and not less was the wait staff. Liz was an excellent server and a delight.
Love the rustic historic vibe of this place. Food was awesome, we had the duck bacon wontons which were excellent, my husband had the steak medallions, I had the lobster Mac and cheese and we split a creme brûlée. Everything was excellent, service was good, my only complaint is most of the tables are high tops and they didn?t have a low table for us to sit at which is tough with a baby but we made it work. Highly recommend checking it out!
This trip started by disappointment due to a neighboring restaurant, we originally wanted to go to, being closed. But everyone was hungry so we picked Brick and Bourbon because it was close. I'm so glad they were closed! The food here tastes like it was created by someone that really has a passion for cooking/trying out new combinations and just nailing it! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the environment. Waiting staff was attentive, cooks were on point, and bartenders knowledgeable. 12/10. I'll definitely be back when I come through town next.
Love the rustic historical mood of this place. Eating was brilliant, we had the duck bacon victories that were excellent, my husband had the steak missions, I had the lobster Mac and cheese and we split a cream brûlée. Everything was excellent, service was good, my only complaint is most of the tables are high up and they had no low table for us to sit on hard with a baby, but we did it work. Very recommended to check it!
