Filosophi Wise Cuisine - Saskatoon

Our company was there for a summer event dinner, service was great, food was tasty. But my vegan chocolate was dry and we had a good laugh, I don't recommend that cake.

The waiters were fantastic, the owner was super kind, the food was INCREDIBLE. It was an overall fantastic time. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Best restaurant in town.

The place looks about a trillion times better than what it did. The wee lunch we had was really really really really fantastic and our server Penny was an absolute gem! I am so looking forward to coming back!

Atmosphere is nice. The hosts at the entrance were very nice as well. My main critique was that my medium rare steak was almost well done...hardly any pink. The Oscar lobster on top of it had very little lobster and what was there had a strong taste of fish not lobster. The steak and lobster were the most important part of the meal. When i mentioned it to the server i didn't receive an apology or even a reply that she'd tell the cook. At $42 i would have appreciated an apology at least.

I had been really excited to try this place out since it had opened and finally made it down last night and it was such a disappointing let down.It started off very promising our cocktails were great and the server seemed knowledgeable and friendly. Everything went out the window once our entrees arrived. My medium rare steak was well done and our server didn’t quality check us for a good 15 minutes and I should mention that I did not complain about the steak as my friend was already half way through her meal and I didn’t want to wait for a new one so that’s definitely on me. Once our plates were cleared our server did not come back to our table. We were sitting in a middle booth so she did walk past us many times going to her 2 other tables but just did not stop once. We had chosen a dessert but never got the chance to order it. Maybe she thought we didn’t want to be bothered while we drank our wine but it was extremely strange and off putting. The bartender clearly noticed us being neglected and came and removed the wine bottle from our table. He came back when we had finished our wine and cleared our glassware as well. We asked him for our bill as it had now been 40 minutes since our server stopped by our table I truly hope management actually looks at the cameras to see this is no exaggeration. Our server brought the bill and we mentioned we’d be paying cash. She left and started cleaning trays behind the bar and chatting with the bartender never coming back to offer change. It was honestly just one of the strangest dining experiences I’ve ever had, especially since it started off so well. Instead of receiving change our server still got a 20% tip because we just wanted to get out of there.
