We arrive in Savannah on a late mid-March morning on and it started to pour down rain, so, after we parked in a covered garage, we went in to this great little coffee house. Because of the rain, it was pretty busy; it was well worth the wait. We enjoyed excellent espresso and a pastry. Service was excellent.
During a Savannah Walking Tour, we stumbled upon The Gallery Espresso when we stopped for a bathroom break and drink. Located on Bull Street, it was a convenient spot to return to after exploring nearby attractions. We ended up visiting three times for snacks and drinks. I tried the sweet tea on my first visit, and as a fan of iced tea and sweet drinks, it was exactly what I had hoped for.
One of my favorite places for many years. We seriously consider a multi-hour trip to Savannah to go sit in Gallery Espresso. The atmosphere is typical student city, with plenty of comfortable non-matching seating, and the cakes are godly (and of course the coffee is great too)
The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with retro furniture and vintage decor, making it a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee. The prices are reasonable, and I had the sandwich of the day with an iced latte, which was fantastic. The staff are very friendly.
