I am not so much a fan of fish, but I say it is great too. if they want good Greek food. oh, and if they are lucky, they can see that horses are trained through a large glass window. if they need a plate to go, just call them and ask, and they won't be disappointed.
This is another go-to place for my family not only because it was close to our home but because of the excellent food. The staff is friendly and courteous and speak some english due to their location near the Kaserne. The seating is a bit...cramped but not uncomfortable and the large window looking into the horse arena provides a great view of the training and a great distraction as well.
Reiterschanke, or The Stables as it is referred to by Schweinfurt 's American population, is a wonderful, family-owned Greek restaurant. I have had Greek food in the US and at some other restaurants in Germany, but this place is definitely the best. The food is amazing,...the staff is proficient and friendly, and the prices are very fair. If you plan on eating here on a Friday or Saturday evening, it is best to make reservations ahead of time.
The staff is always friendly and the food is fabulous! I wish I could go back to eat here!
We love the Greek food, the souvlaki, the gyros, and the salads here, as well as being able to watch the horses while we eat (it is through a big glass window so it doesn't smell! . My two year old is very entertained while we...eat! There is an outdoor eating area when the weather is nice also!
