You are not the only restaurant that does this but it only adds to the diner 's inability to hear what people sitting next to them at their table are saying. I am told that you are required to play music. By whom and for what sane reason would you be required to add to the noise? I like to dine and talk. Most restaurants, even up-scale restaurants make it impossible to have a pleasant conversation that isn 't at a very high decibel pitch. I have always loved your food which is why I return. However, last night I found my chicken piccata terribly over-salted. Don 't know what happened but for the first time, I did not actually enjoy my meal. Everyone else at the table did however.
Met out of friends here for dinner. From the moment we walked in until we left we felt welcomed. The staff is exceptional and the food fantastic. We were not hurried to leave (and oh tip showed our appreciation for that). Thank you for a wonderful evening.
We had a fun time and really enjoyed our meal. Our waiter, Cameron, was hustling and had a large section but took good care of us. I enjoyed the fact they have a large GF menu as well. It's a nice change of pace and their wine club is a twist. We will be back!
I love Cooper's hawk. Being from Chicago we always went there and since we moved here continue to go. However today's visit was a little shocking. When we first got there we were super excited to have an early dinner. Server came over and was super nice but then it started. An unrelentless pushing of the wine club. I get it I'm in sales. However working for a small spiff versus giving exemplary customer service is a huge No-No to me. Asking once is fine but asking four times to sign up during a meal got to the point of excruciating. The food on top of that was subpar. I don't know where they purchased their protein from but it was not even an above average quality. Dry and off texture. Absolutely terrible! Extremely disappointed. The manager stopped by and seem totally uninterested except that she was required to stop by. And once I decided not to sign up for the wine club the experience changed from mediocre to just plain bad. I truly hope this is not going to be an experience in the future. I will try one more time but if it's the same it will be my last time with Cooper's Hawk and I will be very sad...
The recipe for the bisque was changed. It was better before the change. The dinner was brought with potatoes and in the menu stated it comes with roasted broccoli. I had to ask for the broccoli. All in all, I was a little disappointed. However, they still make a wonderful group of wines.
