The worst looking interior to a restaurant I have ever seen, and the food was lousy too.
After so many great reviews for this place, we were extremely disappointed that this place did not measure up to what we thought. Everyone kept talking about how great their Salt and Pepper Wings were, but when we received our order it was literally a plate of really greasy wings. Their hot and sour soup was really disgusting. We ordered the Dinner for Two which came with more greasy sweet and sour chicken (that tasted like msg) and beef broccoli that was sweating in grease. Not to mention that the atmosphere felt like we were in someone's dirty old living room. One part of the restaurant had a computer desk in the middle with someone's dog underneath it (a major health code violation). Trust me, avoid this place.
Although the ambience may not be the most impressive, this restaurant makes up for it with its delicious food. The prices are quite reasonable and it's surprisingly not very busy, which is surprising considering how fantastic the food is!
I had been craving Chinese food and had tried most of the local restaurants in Leesburg. While I liked them, I was looking for something different. After reading the reviews for Chen's Garden, I decided to place an order. The person who took my order over the phone was very friendly and even offered me a couple of free eggrolls, which was a nice touch. My husband really enjoyed the hot and sour soup, and the crab rangoons were fresh and delicious with a light wrapper. My son loved the steak on a stick, and the General Tso's was quite tasty. The staff was very nice and friendly, and we will definitely be coming back for more. Thank you for a delicious meal!
