This place is great. A little on the pricey side, but worth it to me. Want to try some of the sister restaurants soon.
I've been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while, and it definitely was a great dining experience. The espresso martini was quite good, nice chocolatey undertone, the sushi rolls came out quickly, and were quite flavorful and tasty. I usually don't order nigiri, because most places the fish isn't quite good enough, but the salmon nigiri I got was quite phenomenal. I also usually don't like poke bowls, but this one was incredibly good. The service was great as well, our server was very friendly.
TLDR: the sushi is decent quality fish with unique combinations of flavors, prices are slightly high for what you get though Panda roll: 8/10 liked the black sesame aspect of this roll, it was really unique and added something interesting. The albacore was nicely charred and delicious. Shrimp tempura roll: 7/10 enjoyed how crunchy and warm the shrimp tempura was inside this roll. The rice wasn’t cold, it was room temperature which was enjoyable. Usually quite busy, but we waited 30 minutes for spots at the bar. If you’d like a table the wait was 30+ minutes. For context: If you are a sushi enthusiast (enjoy authentic Japanese sushi, high quality fish sushi rice) then this will be average to you. However, for the average eater, this will feel average/above average.
Good place to have team dinner. The place was less noisy compared to others and we could sit and chat with each other. Food was reasonably ok, even for the vegetarians in the group. We had green decadence and tomato curry thing and they both tasted really good.
