Took my Aussie family there to experience a proper pub both girls had been too young to try pubs back in 2017 when they left this green and pleasant land). Had a wonderful welcome from waitress/helper on duty. Nothing too much trouble, even our 8 Yr old sprog was well catered for. Food? excellent pub style. Main course served piping hot, all meaks arrived at rhe same time and they ate everything as did I). We left tummies full, and them? with very fond memories of their Mother Country. Brilliant choice, thank you.
Dave is a fantastic host nothing is too much trouble, fantastic beer, food and great entertainment, very reasonably priced, lovely beer garden also the bar staff are great, One of the best pubs on the marsh if not the best, I have visited the pub on many occasions and never been disappointed
I received the wrong starter and found the prices to be very high. The chicken strips were very small, as was the salad which only had one small half tomato. The sauce was horrible. The burger had an unpleasant taste. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant at all. I paid over £50 for food that was disgusting.
I brought my cousins here for a Sunday roast lunch and have to say it was one of the best roasts we have ever had. Not only could you choose between beef, chicken, pork, or lamb but, for the indecisive you could have a bit of everything, and for those with small appetites there is a smaller plate. Excellent service and delicious food! Highly recommend.
