The atmosphere was so friendly that it felt like you had been friends with everyone there for years. Everywhere you turned, there was something that made you smile, and the music was fantastic. I don't usually write reviews, but even at 7am the next day, I am still laughing about the great time I had last night.
Worth a visit if you ever come to Whitchurch it must be the most unique and bizarre place around. Live music, cheap drinks, themed events, live stuffed tigers skeletons etc
My fiance played here at the weekend as support to our friends' band ... everyone was welcoming and really friendly and supportive. We loved the quirkiness of this place with its antiques and felt that if we lived nearer then we would be regulars. People who saw the gig seemed to really appreciate it and we left feeling as though we had made new friends. The sound engineer deserves a particular mention. Thanks for your input. We can't wait to come back again. Shaun and Joolz
Those that say this place is dark, dingy, odd, etc simply don't get it. Yes, it is all of those things because it is meant to be different. A place to visit and tell your friends back home about.
Loud music, felt like it was Halloween in December!! No atmosphere and creepy people behind the bar! Never drank a cup of coffee faster in order to get out!
