The Prime Rib here is the best I have eaten from Southeast Texas to Sidney MT. The staff is friendly, polite, and aims to please. Highly recommend that you give it a try. A It's been 3 years since I was there and I still think about how delicious the Prime Rib is. Need to make a 1800 mile road trip and dine there again.
I have never wrote a negative review for an establishment but this places deserves mine and the multiple it already has. I called in a to go order for a Philly steak sandwich and the chicken cracklins at 4:07, was told 15 minutes til pickup. Showed up at 4:25 and didn?t leave with my food until 4:44. It should not take 37 minutes to make a sandwich and throw something in the fryer. The restaurant was NOT busy, maybe 6 people at the bar and 2 tables of 2 eating. No one apologized for the wait either. I have given this place almost 10 tries hoping the service makes up for the mid food or that the food makes up for the bad service. I will not spend a dime more here and will tell others to not waste their?s.
Pretty disappointed and bothered by the visit to say the least. We don't live in sidney were passing through on our way home and had decided to stop and feed our kids before it got any later, pulled up the restaurant online and saw they were open until 10pm on Sundays. We looked over the menu and made choices. Arrived at the restaurant at 8pm local time. When we were greeted we were not informed it was a special menu for mother's day. We were seated and handed menus still not told anything. We placed a drink order and started looking at the menu but we already kinda knew what we wanted, husband a steak and me their southwest salad. We didn't see anything like that on the menu we were given. When she came back we asked her about the menu and immediately she was defensive about their specialty menu and managers idea. My husband said isn't this a steakhouse? She said yes its a steakhouse but this is all we're doing today and if you don't like it you are welcome to leave, other people did. We talked it over and still decided we needed to feed our kids. She came back with drinks and asked if we had decided if we were staying or leaving. We stayed and ordered. My daughter then goes out to the car to get something unbeknownst to us the doors were locked around 8:30pm. She tries to get back in and is unable. She tries knocking but no one hears her. Even though it was just a couple of minutes she panicked and was bawling by the time other patrons left and she could get in. Very scary to her. The food was decent, kids were happy with their meal. Nothing overly healthy on the specialty menu everything appeared to come with a potatoes or rice, we asked about vegetables as a side and were told no, no substitutions or changes and meals prepared as is. I am sure everyone had had a long day there but we were completely caught off guard and had no clue and did not deserve the defensive barking tone to any question we asked and considering they were supposed to be open until 10 pm locking the door before 8:30 was weird.
I have been here one other time and I was so excited to come back. It was a horrible experience this time. The soup was so salty I couldn?t eat it, the shrimp was over seasoned and over cooked, the red potato looked like it was thrown in microwave pushed down with a fork and a pound of pepper on top with nothing else. No butter, sour cream anything. Steak was tough and no flavor. This was the worst experience I?ve ever had eating out. The free breakfast at out hotel we just had was ten times better which made me think to write a review. The only good thing was the salad. Save your money and eat at Burger King across the street.
