I told myself that all apps sites (chips queso, fries, roasted Brussels spears, etc) had traces of gluten and they could not guarantee cross-contamination, but no longer detail. he said some burgers could be sure the spinach salad was guaranteed. I had the salat. when he broke the salat, he said that the dressing can also have trace glues and offered to bring a vinaiigrette. after clarification no ingredients with gluten, I took the risk. it was not getting sick. I think honestly, more of this would have been gluten-free, but they were simply not safe and wanted to be safe as I said I had celiac. diversity is not great, but it is functional.
They have gluten-free rolls for the hamburger, which are very good, taste very good. French fries are not gluten-free. they can change fries for salat for 3$ (college is also very good).
Black tap is one of the only places in singapur that I could find that mentions gluten-free on their menu. there is the possibility to exchange the bungalow from each burger to a gluten-free bread for an addition $3 dollar. our waitress was very knowledgeable and advised us which burgers were as friendly as they were and which we would have to make changes. the fries were unfortunately not coeliac friendly as they were cooked in the same oil as fried chicken, but one could exchange the fries for an salate. we have also asked about gluten-free shaking options that she was not 100% sure how she used 3rd party brand ingredients but they returned to the kitchen to check the ingredients lists for all shaking ingredients and returned with a response. they excluded everything that said it can contain gluten as it was aware and understood the cross-contamination problem so only recommended to us that aromen specifically labeled as gluten-free. our food came very fast and everything was excellent. good portions were huge and our group of 5 all agreed that their burger was very tasty and the time we waited to get a table.
They have gluten-free rolls and can make most of the burger gluten-free. the fries are not gluten-free, but they can go to another page for $3. the gluten-free rolls are also $3 extra.
Not a great experience here. Burgers can be done with a gluten free bun but they recommended not having it as there would be cross contamination with the grill. Staff weren't sure originally on what I could have and I ended up having a salad with cheese and vinegarette. If it's an option for you, id recommend going to the Bread Street Kitchen across the way cause there's much better options.
