This is probably helped by the quality of ingredients they use. The menu is pleasingly small (6 or 7 choices for starters and mains) which means every dish is cooked to perfection. If you are after a fawning head waiter and sommelier with golden grapes then try a more expensive venue. If, however, you are after young, enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff then look no further! The wine list caters for all tastes and they stock custom beers that are excellent. The steaks are incredibly tasty and only about SGD$26. You must try the macaroni cheese with pork it is devine. I’ve eaten at a lot of excellent restaurants in Singapore but I’ve not eaten anywhere else that combines taste and value so well. It’s new and doesn’t have a huge profile yet but definitely give it a go, you WILL NOT be disappointed.
Went there for dinner for the first time last week and returned the next day! The food quality is very high and the chef pays attention to everything that is served on the plate. Extremely good value for money. Tried 4 main courses and 4 appetizers and they were all top notch. The chef has an interesting take on all the dishes and adds his own creativity to the dishes.
Can’t rave enough on how awesome and value-for-money the food are. Deco and ambience are perfect for meals... courteous service stuffs just made my date so much more fun... food portion and price wise, a bang for buck, period...
Fantastic place! Healthy and delicious food, decent coffee and friendly staff. Good value for the money!
The tomato stracciatella and yuzu Brussels sprouts impressed us delish! More so than our main, the 300gm NZ dry aged Ribeye then again we are not used to dry aged. It was less marbled than expected, and we prefer a touch more sear and salt. Also ordered the hasselback potatoes and foie gras MJK. Good accompaniments, but the former was left unfinished and the latter, finished too fast! As dessert we chose the chocolate tart it was average I guess, the tart base reminded me of Pineapple tart pastry by then we were full but felt it was missing some ice cream or something to go with. Overall we enjoyed the meal. Service was good too. But value wise, for $200 plus for two without drinks, it will be a while before we return.
