Le Damas - Slough

What a pleasant surprise! The food was amazing and freshly prepared right in front of me. The young chef was helpful and explained everything about the falafel, chicken, and halloumi. There were also delicious vegetarian options available. The spicy potatoes were a standout. The owner even came out to chat with us as I complimented the chef. We had a great conversation about culture, New York, and of course, food while enjoying some tea. This restaurant is a hidden gem in the middle of Slough and is definitely worth a visit with family. The atmosphere was relaxed and there were other families dining there as well.

Absolutely Amazing food and service! (Especially the lamb! We were not meant to be eating in here initially but we looked over and the shawarma looked so delicious we just had to go in. The place is small but thats not an issue because it's very CLEAN! As mentioned we were on our way to a different place to eat so when we walked in we had NO idea what to order. I'm guessing it was the owner, was so patient and talked me through what he thought would be best to order and what would be included in it. He started us off with lentil soup- and oh my days there was an explosion of flavours in my mouth! Never have I tasted lentil soup as delicious as that! While we got over that our table was wiped down and our main dish was bought to us- we went for the mixed grill- I prefer lamb and was delighted to hear it was actually lamb used and NOT mutton! Portion size was very good, I would recommend having a read of the menu as there's alot included in it, we had some left over that we brought home. I picked up a piece of lamb thinking it's going to be chewy but I was really surprised that it was so soft and succulent! None of the flavours were overpowering and we really enjoyed our meal. And once again as we finished our meal, our table was swiftly cleared and aromatic tea bought to us -I'm not a tea person- especially if it has no milk- but I found myself sitting there drinking this delicious warm aromatic tea WITH a piece of chocolate orange brownie. I would highly recommend visiting this place. You will not be disappointed! And it's FRESH FOOD, nothings being brought out from the back it's all there Infront of you.

This restaurant is amazing! The food is delicious, the staff are very friendly, and overall, it's a great place to visit. You must go now!

The food is served by lovely staff.. the food is worth the wait at busy times a chilled atmosphere at quieter times! .. Hygiene is excellent, we go several times a month and have done since they opened, the food has always been outstanding.. Everything is fresh and has so much flavour!! I found a lovely tea here too .. Special Blend ... lovely! Definitely worth a visit can get busy but that's a good sign!!

The food was exceptional. It has a really good customer service and all the workers were so respectful.The best food place in slough!
