Had dinner for the first time tonight. my French martini was very good and the water was good too. I guess a restaurant with filtered water.
No longer in family style! also, it feels like they have changed the kitchen. the food was moderate and the service was terrible. server was nice, but.
Not very impressive restaurant. Ambiance was terrible. Not very busy. Staff was not knowledgeable with wine list or entree's. Sent food back . Ordered medium and was given rare. My wife ate her meal while I sat there and watched then she watched me eat mine. Steak was ok. Grizzle and not tender. Potato croquet was really good. Asparagus was perfect.
Our go to Italian restaurant. Informed this evening by our waitress that the last day Butera's in Smithtown will be open will be Saturday, August 3. A new Butera's will open in Bayshore.
