Perkins Bakery - South Bend

We always stop in Perkins restaurants on our Maryland road trips to the Twin Cities. The 55-plus menu is great with very good food at very affordable prices. Our experience in the Perkins in South Bend was great. Our waiter was friendly and did a wonderful job to serve us to ensure that everything was fine and kept our glasses filled.

Lauren was my server South Bend Perkins. I was on a long trip and she was excellent! As visitors to the Indiana it was really nice to see the kindness, diversity and service! Whenever I come back to South Bend, this is my place!!! : . Great job!

I really enjoy this restaurant. The staff is so pleasant and they always seem to offer opportunities for students from the community. The desserts offered are delicious and offer a great variety. Beautiful selection of cakes and dunes. Nice menu with food that reminds you of home. The remaining room is kept clean. Yeah, five thumbs upstairs

Perkins will be a regular stop for us after the big breakfast we had. The cakes are absolutely great. The peanut buttercake and coconut cream cake are the real deal! Definitely from scratches and the best ingredients. You could taste the vanilla in the cake! I'm going back to Perkins, just for the cakes. Stop the good kitchen. Very nice interior also and cozy.

This place is TERRIBLE! Horrible service, horrible food and definitely over priced. My daughter's burger had old cheese , fries so hard you could knock someone out, toast super hard, my chicken sandwich, 0 flavor, pancakes were terrible. Manager and waitress both was very impersonal, STAY AWAY from here
