Came here with friends after going to Anglesey Abbey. I'm a Coeliac and checked before going. They offered a good choice of gluten free.I had the sweet potato and spinach curry, delicious! Staff very friendly and very good service . Would certainly come back.
We had a really nice meal at the Swan. They accommodated both my dietary needs (gluten and dairy intolerant) and quickly brought out a dish for my very hungry four year old. The owner is a real character and made us laugh. There was a lovely warm fire in the room we sat in and the general atmosphere in the pub was jolly!
Stopped here for lunch and had cheese and pickle baguette with chips. Bread was as near tasteless as it’s possible to get and there was more pickle than cheese. Chips were tasty and hot. You get what you pay for and it was quite cheap. The bar is very old fashioned, small and rather shabby and full of locals, so much so that we felt rather out of place. It’s one of those places you wonder how they’ve managed to survive so long.
Absolutely fantastic from the staff to the food, couldn’t have asked for anything more. Felt as though we were part of the community
