Yes I love Pepes. But a 10-minute drive you can get a thicker Italian style pizza with amazing toppings. Give this place a shot

This was my first time here today. See that this place has been rated the 2nd best pizza in Connecticut! I don't agree!! Pizzeria Sassano, has the best pizza in Connecticut and all New England for this matter including New York City!!! It is so delicious, sauce, crust, cheese, fillings!! I recommend this pizzeria...! Exceptional experience with the staff aswell, friendly as I had a call and to visit for a few minutes!! Will this definitely become a pizza place for all sports events!!

Everyone knows about Sassano?s amazing pizza and grinder, but I want to pay attention to the DELICIOUS Cannoli we had last night. atmosphere is fun friendly. Don't miss this diamond in the rough!

I absolutely love their food, but I’ve had some difficulties when it comes to placing orders. Their pizza is Brooklyn-style with a thick crust—definitely not Greek. The flavors are amazing, and the service is excellent once you manage to get through. However, for some reason, they close at random times and often don’t answer their phone. The pizza is fantastic, but ordering takeout requires a bit of patience.
