The Dolphin Inn - South Hams

I stopped by this restaurant mainly to escape the constant rain and because my wife claimed she had been here years ago. I'm so glad she did, what a pleasant surprise! This place is a true old-fashioned traditional pub, which is becoming increasingly rare nowadays. The landlord was friendly, personable, and happy to answer our questions about the numerous colorful flags hanging everywhere. The beer and wine were good, and the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was fantastic, especially with a French radio channel playing nostalgic tunes from Bordeaux. If you're ever in Dartmouth, make sure to check out this place, you won't be disappointed!

A lovely unspoilt traditional English pub. No fancy frills just a good atmosphere and very good beer and some head banging scrumpy. Anyone visiting Dartmouth to get off the tourist trail and seek out this oasis of old england

Visiting Dartmouth 16th 17th December we had more than a few scoops in this great pub Friday night, someone played some (excuse my age) electronic music which got louder and louder, we`ve never heard it before and it was brilliant! I would like to know what it was if possible? Great friendly boozer

After remembrance I walked in and asked what real ales they have. I was met with a look of disgust! I left and will never return.

Had a couple of pints here on a sunny afternoon. Good beer , reasonably priced and friendly service .
