The only downside was that the sausages at breakfast could have been cooked better. Overall, everything else was excellent. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
My dog and I had a wonderful stay at this restaurant and felt well taken care of! It is the perfect spot for hikers on the Two Moors Way. The blackout curtains and comfortable bed made for a cozy room. The food was fantastic, and they went out of their way to accommodate gluten-free and vegan options. I highly recommend this place. Lovely location, friendly staff and yummy food. Also very dog friendly. Didn't stay over so don't know about rooms, but pub was great. Fab views from restaurant. Service: 5 Location: 5
Delightful views over rural Dartmoor farmland make for the perfect stop on a round-the-moor cycle trip or any trip, really. Nearby activities: On Dartmoor's southern edge. What more needs be told? Walkability: Quiet lanes take you to the Moor for hikers rather than wheelchairs Food drinks: Local ales from the well stocked bar include Jail Ale on draught, a must for any visitor to DNP. Good honest pub grub at excellent prices. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Great view, Great value
Walkers pub, excellent real ale on cask, value for money freshly cooked tasty pub grub. Nice views out back, good for kids and dogs. Venison burger and pie were both good. Landlord is dry but amusing. Would return for an ale or three! Nearby activities: Dartmoor Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Great view, Kid-friendly, Great value
