At The West Vale Country House

This restaurant is the best cozy spot with a warm welcome. We originally booked the junior suite, but they generously provided an extra room for my son at no additional cost. The hotel staff offered this option voluntarily, despite the fact that there was already a sofa bed in the junior suite.

Great spot to shamble on down to the ferry and cross to the bright lights of Bowness and fantastic public transport links via open topped buses. Beats driving you can drink as much as you want !!!

Breakfast was a wonderful experience with such varied and tasty choices. Although evening meals are not available the Sandwiches/Soups and wonderful Platters are available and well worth sampling.

Fantastic food , fab wine list, fantastic service, if I could afford to eat every day of the week, I so would.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at this lovely hotel. What a beautiful place to stay, with very tasteful accommodation. Spotlessly clean and very comfy! Not only are the owners very welcoming, but they also advised us how best to enjoy our holiday. Not only by giving us ideas for walks (as we had never been and had no idea where to go! , they also supplied us with equipment!! :D The Breakfast!!! It was to die for! There wasn't anything they didn't have on offer! This is definatly somewhere we will be returning, and would highly reccommend it! Thanks Lynn and Dee
