Monou Japanese - South Melbourne

Yummy food and friendly service. I love the prawn tempura and curry rice Really enjoyable night.

Great to dine in Monou again. The Omurice dishes were delicious. The host was very polite and the restaurant filled iwth patrons. The only disspointment was that the menu is a more simple takeway menu instead if the former more extensive (dine in) menu from before, which to us, was the main attraction for going to Monou.

I think this is the first dining review I’ve ever written.. I felt like I had to because this place was just so good I’ve worked in aquaculture for years and I can confidently say that all the sashimi was really fresh and of amazing quality. Presentation was excellent too. Also loved the tofu ramen. Atmosphere is chilled but funky, non pretentious, tasteful music. Prices are more than fair do yourself a favour and get down here as soon as you can!

We booked a table for 6 person, we arrived early and the table was ready. The food was delicious and it didn't take long to serve. The waitress was super kind and friendly.
