We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and we are so glad we did. It is located in a beautiful small building. My partner had the full English breakfast, which was delicious, and I had the eggs royale, which came in a generous portion. Usually, you would get half a muffin, one egg, a bag of smoked salmon, and a tablespoon of hollandaise sauce. However, this restaurant served a whole muffin, two eggs, a large stack of salmon, and a generous amount of hollandaise sauce. It was absolutely delicious and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely visit again if we find ourselves in Diss. Additionally, we appreciated that they pay when ordering, which is a great idea.
We are immersed in katie’s kitchen today and have swollen so that we have made it! partner had a full English and was very impressed the quality of the meat was exceptional and all of a local metzger, plus a top tee and...a very delicious granat toast. our son and I had both baguettes that were delicious and he was washing with a milkshake he was very satisfied with. the staff was beautiful and attentive, the whole team naturally went a bit beyond and beyond. I regret that I had no time today, but I will definitely make a point to go back several times to try their scrupulous looking cakes and scones. many thanks to katie’s kitchen for a nice lunch on an otherwise soggy and miserable day.
My first experience of Katies was a great one. Situated off the market place not far from the mere we found a gem. Offering quality food, excellent coffee and friendly and efficient service. Well worth a visit to this intimate local resource. Open daily for...food until and later for drinks.
The waitress was short, busy, and very stressed, but despite everything, she was helpful, accommodating, and managed to quickly serve us the delicious eggs royale and coffee. The meals came with a token side salad of low-quality, tired ingredients, but everything on our plates was fresh and excellent. It was definitely worth the trip for breakfast.
