We arrived right before noon on Tuesday and have one of the last parking spaces available. All the time we ate it were people who wanted to find a place. So, if possible, come early! If you sit near where we were on the photo, you get a great look at the workers grab boxes of lobsters that they just store in the water. So cool! We share the $44 Rolls Royce Lobster Roll and a cup of shells. We had tried 5 different lobster rolls during our holiday, and without a doubt DIESER is the best we ever had. HUGE lobster pieces, mainly claws. Pour the drawn butter up, it is the next level. I'll have literally dreams about this lobster roll. The Clam Chowder was thinner than anyone I had on the trip and was just okay. The wild Blueberry Sticky pudding we had after OMG is not shown. It was INCREDIBLE. Save space for Dessert!
Good price and absolutely immaculate environment!! The place is so much cuter than it looked like on google photos. It?s super chill and people bring their own drinks to pair it with their orders from this place. Was recommended by our cruise tour guide he?s a local and he said this is in his opinion the best lobster roll!
Found this place at the top of a list of best lobster rolls in Maine and it did not disappoint. If you're traveling on Route 1 it's less than a 15 minute detour away and well worth it. Perfectly toasted bun with a bit of mayo, full of delicious lobster meat with no fillers like celery, and butter served on the side. Also comes with chips, a pickle, and coleslaw. The line moved quickly and the order was ready in just a few minutes.
Definitely go to this fantastic lobster shack right on a beautiful picturesque bay... we got a fantastic spot on the water in lobster trap rocking chairs. Huge amount of lobster in the sandwich, and the blueberry bread pudding was ridiculously amazing (we got an extra to bring home). I appreciated no single use plastic silverware and a cold water refill station.!. So glad a friend recommended it to us on our trip.
