Eighteen66 Bistro & Grill

I visited the restaurant on a Friday night. It was a big mistake to wait until the end of the meat raffle before going into the bistro. There was a long line to order and I had to wait an hour and twenty minutes for my meal. I wasn't informed of the delay when I placed my order. The prices of the meals were reasonable and they were quite good once I received them. The staff apologized for the delay, but better management is needed.

Would have to be the worst meal ever had in a club, mixed grill, lamb chops charcoal, steak tough could not eat, partner had fish and veg presentation poor, veg and chips overcooked. Big dissapointment

My experience at this restaurant was great. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

First time visiting SWR country club since eighteen66 bistro took over from the previous smorgasbord. Front counter lady was lovely and friendly. Meals very expensive on weekends just for bistro food (I believe weekdays has $10 specials) and no table service (you order at front then need to go pick up your meals from the kitchen counter). Waitress was rude and unfriendly and did not make us feel welcome. They have also changed the kids meals ($8.50 for a very small serve of chips and nuggets) to not include a free ice-cream, however, this has not been updated on their online menu. Waitress did not care the children in our group were disappointed by this and did not even offer an apology. Will not return - did not feel the prices reflected the food or service received.

A very friendly club atmosphere here. The dining area is large, light and airy and beautifully maintained. The menu is varied and very good value for your dollar. The staff were friendly and helpful. The club offers a variety of eating experiences that are worth investigating as well as the restaurant.
