There’s nothing particularly remarkable about it. I can't shake the feeling that this place is overcharging for every little thing that goes into a sandwich. I suggest looking for a better option elsewhere, maybe in Greenport.
First, let’s discuss that quintessential New York attitude. Upon entering North Road Deli, I was met with the unmistakable no-nonsense, straightforward service that can only be found in the Big Apple. The staff knows how to keep it real, which adds a unique touch to the experience. If you like a bit of sass with your sandwich, this is definitely the place for you! Now, let’s get to the main highlight: the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. Let me tell you, it was a buttery masterpiece! The bagel was toasted to perfection, achieving that ideal balance of crispy outside and soft inside. And once you take that first bite? Wow! The blend of crispy bacon, fluffy eggs, and gooey melted cheese is enough to make any breakfast lover swoon. This sandwich provides pure comfort for your taste buds, making you feel like you've reached breakfast heaven. But we can’t overlook the supporting elements. North Road Deli truly knows how to enhance the bacon, egg, and cheese experience with just the right touch of New York flair. From the friendly shout of “Next!” to the charming hustle at the deli counter, it immerses you in the vibrant atmosphere of the city that never sleeps. So, if you're ready for a hilarious and delicious adventure, head over to North Road Deli in Southold, NY. Embrace that classic NY attitude, enjoy the buttery goodness of their bacon, egg, and cheese bagel, and soak in the wonderfully entertaining vibe. Just be sure to bring your appetite and sense of humor—you’re in for a deliciously amusing treat that will have you coming back for more!
This restaurant feels quite outdated and average. The food was underwhelming, and the portion sizes were small. I left feeling a bit disappointed. Rating: 2/5.
We walked by this morning on our way to the ferry, and I can honestly say it had the best bacon, egg, and cheese I've ever had!
This is one of the best Italian sandwiches I've enjoyed in quite a while.
