The Pommelers Rest - Southwark

We called in for a drink. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It’s nice to have a drink in London at a reasonable price a rare commodity today.

Very convenient spot for breakfast opening at 8 AM. This was on Tower Bridge Road just around the corner from The Dixon hotel where we stayed. It's order at the counter or using QR code, and coffee is self-serve; meals are delivered to the table. The price of breakfast was very reasonable and the food was good. Staff was welcoming and helpful.

One of the tidiest Wetherspoons I’ve been too. Staff were very friendly, great service and food was great.

The breakfast at the restaurant was disappointing, but I suppose considering it's a Wetherspoons and the price, it was to be expected. The milk jugs were moldy and the food was lukewarm and reheated, but at least I survived the experience.

We have always found meals at Wetherspoons to be great value. However, on Sunday, we were very disappointed with all four meals. The chips and peas were cold, and it wasn't busy in the restaurant but we had to wait a long time to receive the fourth meal.
