Contribuer aux commentaires? drove from out of town (well over 100 miles), to meet eat what I heard was The Best Nashville Hot Chicken outside of Nashville. To my BIG disappointment CLOSED on Labor Day! ? Oh well, who 'd a thunk it, nxt time I 'll call ahead. However, I did enjoy some ?GREAT BBQ just down the street Little Pigs Barbecue 840 S Pine St, Spartanburg, SC 29302 ? Kenneth, I 'll take you up on that, I look forward to that day/meal soon. 09/20/23
Fifties style gas station conversion, original and unique. The staff are very friendly and courteous from the time you enter to the time you leave.I had the Korean Fried sandwich awesome, tangy with a heat that grows on you. Fries weren't to Shabby either.Nice change from fast food yard bird franchises, fancy a change stop by The Flock Shop on Pine Street in Spartanburg.
The food was wonderful and freshly made. I loved the soul egg rolls and the spicy fried shrimp. Our server AB was super sweet and helpful. I had the Down South sandwich and would definitely get it again ? I will be back!
This is my regular place to go, been there twice this week already and probably going back tonight. Food is incredible, staff even more so. The Korean BBQ sandwich is incredible, the mac and cheese is the best restaurant mac I 've ever had, and I 'm going to be honest, the grits are beyond anything I 've ever had.... simply incredible. Will say that the fries aren 't my favorite, but I 've never had anything that was bad here. Cilantro haters: be sure to ask for no cilantro, it 's in a lot of dishes and they 're happy to accommodate this. The Iced Tea is decent.Alcohol selection is pretty great for beers, and they have a few cocktails and some classics (such as a **** Mary). I recommend the Peach Mule... it 's my personal favorite... and they have a pretty good selection all around for a place that 's not a true bar with a massive liquor selection. They have a pet-friendly back room, which can be accessed without going through the main restaurant. Perfect for socializing a puppy or training a service dog, since it 's more relaxed and not uptight like many restaurants, and gives them a really good opportunity to still be animals while learning in a positive environment. I trained my service dog in this restaurant... staff were so kind about it. It 's been great since she now has no issues with restaurants and I attribute this place and the staff 's caring ways to her incredible behavior at food places. Two days ago I saw a parrot in here and I regularly brought my cat when I was socializing her as a kitten. I 've also seen countless other dogs and a few other random things over the last year.I 've seen a few fundraisers being held here for the humane society as well as car shows... there was a rare 1950s Chevy, two mustangs, a cobra, and a very old bug in there a few days ago. Really fun to get food and entertainment. Sometimes they do special cocktails for events. Can 't believe that the first time I walked in here I walked out without trying the food. Wish I hadn 't, as this is now my favorite restaurant in the area.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian-friendly options. (Not entirely sure about vegan.)Dietary restrictions: Depending on the restriction, it can be accommodated! I 'm personally a huge hater of cilantro and they happily remove it for me. I 've also seen them accommodate Keto and other such diets. I would probably say that avoiding dairy here is a bit difficult, but otherwise you 're most likely going to find something you can eat!Parking: There 's not only the parking lot up front and on the side, but there 's also a parking lot for the park just across the (one lane, virtually no traffic) street behind the restaurant that serves as overflow parking. I 've never had an issue finding parking here.Kid-friendliness: Super kid-friendly. Also located a short walk from (but not in direct site of) a public playground in case your kids need to release some energy after eating. Plenty of kid-friendly non-spicy options, and they have mac and cheese even the pickiest of kids won 't turn up their nose at.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible, just use the front or back entrance as the to-go entrance is a bit narrow.
Flock shop was recommended by a client who lives nearby, so I checked it out. Had the down south chicken sandwich and got a side of the Korean BBQ to dip my fries in. The sauce was great and sandwich was phenomenal! Chicken was seasoned perfectly, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, just like fried chicken should be. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, I placed my order Togo and they brought it out to my car. I will definitely be back and will definitely recommend this business to others. I had been craving a good fried chicken sandwich for awhile, and this definitely satisfied that craving! Photo is after I took a bite because I just couldn’t wait haha!
