BEST !!!. BEST Chinese food in Hernando county !!! the buffets are quantity over quality... yuck.the take out places all taste the same, bland and greasyChina City is just like New York style Chinese food !!!!EVERYONE i recommend is shocked they never found it before.... and all go back again and again.It's to bad most people would rather stuff themselves with buffet fair, then eat REAL Chinese food. Oh yeah, the portions at China City are HUGE !!! A

Worth The Hunt. Would never find this small, comfortable and clean restaurant if you were not looking for it. Hard to find (behind Chili's on Commercial Way-Hwy.19) but well worth it. The food is very good with a broad selection at very reasonable prices. Check the hand written board at the entrance for specials. Family owned and operated (usually the case) but for a lot of reasons this restaurant is different. The combo menu is extensive and has all the entrees that you would like to include soap, egg roll and fried rice at very reasonable prices.

Some of the best Chinese food left in Spring Hill. The take out joints have given all of the traditional places a run for their money, and buffets have done their damage too. This sit-down restaurant serves up generous portions at a fair price. The store-front style is very common in this area- and it is tucked in behind a stand-alone 'Chili 's '. Look for it...it is well worth the trouble.

Finally convinced the wife to do a sit-down in-restaurant lunch for the first time in about 6 months. First, they social distanced very well. Very clean establishment. Server wore a mask. The food was delicious. Wife got a soup to take home but we ordered various items from the Dim Sum menu to eat there. The baked pork buns were amazing. Hong Kong style fish balls were tasty. Loved the taro pancakes. Sweet rice with sausage and bacon was good. Loved the takoyaki. We will definitely be returning. Probably as soon as the next weekend.

Food was good, nice staff. Only concern is they put black fungus inside their Ramen noodle soups. Which if not prepared or soaked correctly can be lethal. it also made me super itchy. Would recommend shiitake mushrooms over the black fungus.
