College Street Cafe - Springfield

I had breakfast on Saturday, and I have to say, my chicken fried steak was fantastic—one of the best I’ve had! I'm quite particular about my over-easy eggs, and they were perfect. This place has definitely earned a spot on our list of must-visit restaurants. The service was quick and friendly, and we felt very well taken care of. Our waitress even offered a small pancake for my 2-year-old grandson, which was a nice touch. Yes, we will definitely be coming back!

Yesterday, my husband, son, and I visited College Street cafe and were extremely pleased. I have been on the hunt for old fashioned mom and pop places to eat lately. This is palace we plan on visiting at least once a week. My husband ordered the classic double with chips, my son ordered the single with chips, and I ordered the Friday catfish special. I was the best catfish I have had in a very long time. I highly recommend trying this place out! For the record, we came back for breakfast this morning and again was pleasantly pleased.

My mom and I went there this morning for breakfast/lunch for the first time. We fell in love with this sweet place. We will be making many more trips to dine. Wonderful food and service.
