They refuse to give me a managers name or tell me what they will give me as a refund.Well I will go back tomorrow at 11:30 because you can’t disrespect me on my own money and then enjoy that… the staff could not help me but but be rude to me and the new girl I do understand it’s her first day but honestly this was a small issue but it turned while because I was called a liar which I am not I order from you guys all the time and this time is my last.
We are wild wing fan and we have been to Mississauga and Milton locations. We just moved to the west end so were excited to dine here. When we came here for dinner and they had $12 wings special (8 wings, fries and drink). The waitress was attentive and fine but drinks took about 20 mins and our food came out after 40 mins of long wait. The presentation of calamari and Moz sticks were “0”. They were just tossed into white diner plate w sauce container.. no effort at all. The wings were tiny like 2” in size, taste was alright but one of wing order they were still cold so my son refused to eat. (We didn’t wanna bother waitress cause she was busy with other tables). They definitely need to work on presentation of each plate atleast a little bit… cause I didn’t feel like I was at the restaurant..Speaking of atmosphere, it was a nice place but the ambient was totally intimidating. Loud rock music, couple of drunk guys at the bar talking loudly.., one lady (who high on drug) kept walking in and out of restaurant shouting and talking to herself and crawling on the floor at front entrance … then next we noticed she was eating left over food off from table that hasn’t cleaned yet ?. My husband felt bad and offered her food to order but didn’t get any service done. What made it even worse was they had this Punching game at the front and once a while it made us jumped cuz one of customer was playing furiously. Like.. why would u leave such game like that at diner?!!! Over all, We didn’t enjoy the meal at all and couldn’t wait to get out of the place. Will never come back again, or suggest to anyone coming to this Wild wing location.
Service here is superb and they have a talent for you feel welcome. The ambiance is a casual and fitting for a night out for a drink, but the food takes a while to come out and is not the best that I’ve had. If it were faster and a little tastier, it would be a 5 star. Last time though, I had a burger and it looked pretty disgusting. Tasted okay. Their gar par fries are good though. Love the service though!
My only complaints about wild wing is that the food could be seasoned better, and the music is sometimes too loud. otherwise, I love eating here, the spin dip appetizer is great!
I ordered the spicy burger, the jalapeño poppers, their seasoned fries and the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. The burger I will probably say was the best burger I’ve ever had. Not because it was delicious, but because it wasn’t soggy. The ace bun was perfect I. Size as the toppings and burger didn’t drip over the edges, and it was nice and crisp and super fresh. I have never once received a burger that wasn’t atleast partially soggy or dry and stale. So because of that wonderful bun, I give this 4/5 stars. The burger itself was bland and unseasoned. It would have been infinitely better divided into two smash Pattie’s, or mixed by hand with seasonings. This burger was not anything so special that it couldn’t have been seasoned even a little, or atleast cooked over fire so it had a charred characteristic to its bland bland bland profile. They opted to leave the patty unmixed likely to show they used fresh ground beef, the brain like landscape of the burger patty was the only texture available since it had absolutely nothing from the cooking process. Which made the burger uncomfortable to eat. For a spicy burger it was quite bland. For a burger at all it was quite bland. The fries were fine, I ate two but will use the left overs for my lunch tomorrow, I’ll season them and then air dry them so they aren’t dry soggy chips. And yes they resemble a British chip more so than a fry, which is fine. The poppers were crunchy which is nice when the alternative is soggy, and by now we’ve established how much I detest soggy food.BUT WHY IN GODS NAME WOUKD ANYONE PAIR A JALAPEÑO POPPER WITH FLIPPING RANCH? I mean come on it is hated by 50% of the population. Is that really a risk a place of profit should be making? To have it be an option is understandable, but to make it the ONLY option? Atleast give alternatives like a pico de gallo, marinara, sour cream, or dill dip, he’ll maybe even a blackened ranch? But ranch dressing? I’m sick just thinking about the bite I had to attempt just to write this review honestly. The cheese cake was good. Atleast the tip was good because that’s where the white chocolate shaving was and the only raspberry swirl was in the very top. After that tasty bite it was a white mush with an underwhelming choco crumb crust. The crust wasn’t soggy and it wasn’t crispy or textured, I only knew it was there because I have eyes.Maybe swirl the raspberry mix through the cake? Try a different crumb base? Or maybe add more chocolate curls so that it can act as a means of texture so that it’s not just a bite of pasty mush? Maybe an offer for a side sauce to add flavour or something? A coconut sauce, a raspberry coulis, or a white chocolate sauce? Just not fkn ranch please. If it wasn’t for the bun I’d give this place a 2/10.
