One of the oldest remaining pubs in st. helens that have combined an old and new aperance in the inner of theater, it worked well here. it is convenient and relaxing and the beer is always good, cheaper than the city. Eating is regular pub dug, not brilliant, but what would they expect for 2 meal times for ten pounds. no covered smoke area, everyone stands at the doorstep and they do not allow children to any time. Now, that could be the reason why this pub is quiet, but in its defense where it is located, is on a series of very busy traffic lights at the intersection of prestcot road and dunriding lane. the parking space is open at the front and at the back of the pub, no safer place to take children.
