The bathrooms were very clean. I double checked to ensure my daughter’s slushee was dairy-free and after the staff assured me, they also let me know about their dairy-free dilly bars and offered her one to try! The food was very fresh and I was impressed that the ranch was house made. We have definitely made a note to stop here on our next road trip!
I worked there for 5 days. They do not use gloves. There is not enough soap coming out of the soap dispenser to generously lather your hands. They cross contaminate their towels by using the same towel to wash the counters as they use on the blizzard machine. They don’t change towels and you are expected to spray down the towel to clean it. They do not wear hats or visors to protect their hair from falling in the food. The store manager is very disrespectful and routinely talks down to the workers to their face and when they are not there. They are always hiring and will always be as they don’t know how to treat people. There is no reason to stop by this store.
I worked at this place. They do not wear gloves, they do not wear hats or visors to prevent hair from falling in your food. They do not have adequate soap supply to wash your hands generously to prevent contamination. They cross contaminate their towels and their countertops and their customer’s blizzard cups using the same dirty towel to wash them all off. They use this towel to wash off the blizzard machine blade throughout the day. This is a every day experience inside this Dairy Queen.
Food was as expected. Nothing fabulous or spectacular, but nothing wrong either (big plus when you’re on the go). Service was the same way, no complaints. If you want Dairy Queen, stop here. Parking: Same parking as any other fast food joint. Kid-friendliness: Kids love ice cream last I checked . Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible by chair with wheels…. Yes it is wheelchair accessible.
Ordered a blizzard visibly saw a piece of hair inside and the employee at the register watched me pull it out and looked at me like I was stupid for even suggesting getting a different one.
