As I strolled down Inkerman Street, I couldn't help but admire the exterior of the building where the pub I was looking for was situated. It was quite impressive.
If you need a reason to visit Newmarket, there are plenty. One standout reason is the desserts at this restaurant. They have a delicious Latin flair that is truly worth trying. My favorite part...
After not having visited the Newmarket since October 2015 we were quite disappointed to find that the menu has changed. There is no more of the So Cal Latino inspired menu with its great sharing dishes including the 36 hour slow cooked pork hock with its tamarind glaze. Instead it seems to be a typical kind of pub menu that can be found anywhere. Still loved the atmosphere and the architecture of the place itself and the service was excellent. Our meals were ok but nothing to rave about like the previous menu.
Bookings system sucks. Better to just walk in and order over the bar. Service is average for the price of meals. Food is quite enjoyable, try the chicken wings or parma deff a good feed. Great live music sets a nice atmosphere. Happy hour week days worth a look. For what they offer a solid 3/5 not great but not bad.
