The Weinhotel von Wiedennmann is a beautiful place where you can ask yourself when you can return. We spent a special 24 hours there, in the time for the snacks offered by 2pm a warm option, but also a variety of salads and two desserts. The weather was beautiful and we sat on the terrace, relaxing after our ride. Our room was simple but warm with pine wood furniture. We liked our balcony with seats and table, overlooking parts of the valley, but one of the neighboring hills. Everything was green and luscious. We went to the pool area and settled in our deck chairs. We brought swimsuits and the hotel offers you wonderfully fluffy bathrobes and slippers. The pool is heated so that we can really enjoy it; there is also a jacuzzi. We found that in cooler months the pool is easily accessible via an indoor corridor! Then I went to the newly opened wellness area for an 80-minute full body massage, which was very relaxing. Coming on the heels of two hours by the pool was wonderful. And in fact Wiedennmann's calm is imparted. Far away from any urban bustle, you can really let go. We have tried some of their wines, but we have not managed to join the day wine tasting during this visit. We bought a case from her Rosé champagne. Our package included a 4-course dinner where we had the main choice and had it back on the terrace. The place was full, but conversations faded. We had a good night to sleep, although I would expect the room to get pretty hot in the summer. You will get a safe in the wardrobe and a small fridge filled only with water, but with Haribo 'Weingums' (wine rubbers). A backpack is available for guests to rent if they plan a long walk either the village with wineries or the local area. We were impressed by how things were thought through to make guests welcome and offer a variety of experiences. We will return!
