Because I typically don't drink but wanted to try something “ out of my comfort zone.” She also helped me in my selection of food. I had the evening special. Coconut encrusted scallops and shrimp on a bed of risotto with asparagus tips. It was so exquisite. My husband had seafood paella. Made a bit differently but also fabulous. Drinks were great. Service was excellent And they brought a dessert of our choice to our table as we were celebrating as senior newlyweds. We would definitely revisit Doc Ford's again and again !!!
The food was excellent I had oyster and shrimp and soup everything was delicious I will definitely ? me back
Food superb price reasonable for dinners service good and view of pier//water great
Doc Fords never misses! There isn't a bad dish on the menu. My particular fav is the Yucatán peel and eat shrimp. The sauce has a bite to it and you dip your fresh bread in it for a double treat with shrimp and bread. Delicious! Everyone I have dined with have said their meal was fantastic- no matter what they have ordered! We always eat outdoors and the bay setting, palm trees and breeze just make the experience even better! If that wasn't enough, later in the day (maybe around 6pm ish, but better to check. I could be wrong about the time) they have live music outside in the sand to provide entertainment. You won't be able to talk much to your co-diners, but enjoy the music! Long and short, Doc Fords is a must.
The servers were unprofessional. The food runner brought out our entrees and placed my dish on top of my empty salad plate.
