Harvey's 4th Street Grill

Grouper, grouper, grouper! If you dine here, you absolutely must try a grouper dish; it’s their specialty for a reason! I opted for the "Super Grouper," which was a broiled grouper wrapped in bacon, and it was delicious. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked to tender perfection. Their grouper sandwich is also one of the most popular options on the menu. For an appetizer, we tried the fried broccoli and cheese bites, which were really cheesy and tasty. The restaurant has a casual seafood vibe, and the prices are quite reasonable. For dessert, I had the key lime pie—it was tart but a bit too sweet for my liking, as I prefer something with less sugar.

Old School St. Pete. I've been visiting Harvey's for what feels like forever. Back in the day when St. Pete lacked a variety of unique, locally-owned restaurants, Harvey's was a reliable choice. Their Sunday brunch is always a hit with our entire family. My husband loves the grouper bites, tomato salad, and Reuben sandwich. Meanwhile, I'm a fan of the chicken salad sandwich and the hay and straw noodle dish. Our kids can't get enough of the blueberry pancakes on Sundays. The decor is playful, with the red bar rail being a standout feature, and it hasn’t changed much in the past 30 years. Some things are just perfect the way they are, and Harvey's remains a beloved staple of Northeast St. Pete!

Harvey's is consistently fantastic! The grouper is exceptional, and the staff is wonderfully friendly and welcoming. I’ve never been disappointed there, and I will always return for another amazing experience.

The fish spread appetizer is to die for! I have had all different types, and Harvey's is top notch. Their reuben sandwiches are also great. I would highly recommend dropping by if you have never been!

Love Harvey's. Been going for years and it's always consistently good. Favorite items: Grouper sandwich, Chili Burger and their Chicken Tenders entree. They make their own Honey Mustard for the Chicken tenders (very honey rich..delicious).
