I absolutely LOVE coming here. A great local spot, always fresh, and tastes amazing!!! I always get the Grand Central St Pete, love the harissa cream cheese. Highly recommend
Bagels here are very tasty and I'm glad to see a place in St Pete make bagels the right way. Most other places in Florida skip the boil and just mix together dough and bake it. Only problem is these bagels are small and cost way too much. Even in Manhattan which has the most expensive store-front real estate in the country, bagels are at least twice as big and cost less than half as much. I'd continue to buy from Pete's but hoping we get some more competition in town soon so that they finally reign in their pricing
This was our first visit to this bagel shop, and my wife and I absolutely loved it! The food was fantastic; we both had everything bagels with bacon, egg, and cheese, paired with different cream cheeses. They were both delicious! However, it’s not just about the bagels—the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. I really liked the layout of the place, and the staff were very friendly. You really can’t ask for more than that!
I've tried to give this place multiple chances, but it's been disappointing each time. The first visit, my order took nearly 30 minutes, which is too long for bagels. On another occasion, around 11 AM when it was quite slow, none of the seven employees were able to take my order. After waiting for a long time, I decided to leave and go to Chelsea just around the corner. At Pete's, a simple bagel with cream cheese costs about $6, but at Chelsea, you get two for that price. The service was lacking, and the prices are high. I won't be returning.
