Vegan burgers from Beleaf Better Burgers are not only healthier but also good for the environment. And trust me, they don't substitute taste for all the benefits. The vegan burgers taste exactly like your regular burgers. You've got to give these a try. So good
Did this location close? I was at Rodeo 39 a few weeks ago hoping to get me some Beleaf Burgers but no one was here. It was about 7pm on a Friday night. At first, I thought they closed for the night. But upon closer inspection, I think this location might be closed. For starters, their POS system is gone. Then if you look through the windows, not much stuff is inside their kitchen. Their website still lists a Stanton location but their instagram only mentions their Chino location as well as a Long Beach location coming soon in the bio. But then again, if you scroll through their feed, they still tag Rodeo 39 including fairly recent posts. I'm confused! I was kinda bummed to not have their food for dinner that night we were there a few weeks ago but luckily there are other vegan options at Rodeo 39. And if they do open a Long Beach location, that would work out better for me. All that said, this review is for the handful of times I've had Beleaf at Rodeo 39 prior to discovering that they might be closed. My first time here was for a Yelp perk. I had the Mexican Pizza and fries. I liked it enough to eat it but not enough to order it again. Don't get me wrong, it was tasty. I just felt very heavy after this indulgent meal. Well, maybe I might order it again if I was splitting it with a friend. bit.ly/3sgv2W4 My second time here was like the best meal ever! They had a limited-time Hawaiian plate that had Vegan Shrimp Katsu, rice, and Hawaiian Mac Salad. OMG!!! This plate of food totally rocked my world!!! I tried to order this again on my third visit but it wasn't available. I've also had both their Nashville Hot Fries and their Boogie Style Fries which is like the vegan version of animal-style. Both tasty! While the staff was always friendly, waiting for my food always took a really long time. Like, 40 minutes long. In fact, on my last visit, all I ordered was the Boogie Style Fries and they told me it would be a 20ish minute wait. All in all, I like this place. It would be a bummer if this location is in fact closed. But at the same time, I'm very eager to know when this Long Beach location will open up.
This place took my money, accepted the order, said it's ready for pickup and the restaurant was closed!?? How does that even happen. Waisted my time driving down and waiting for the pretend order. They even pushed the time back 30 minutes like they busy making orders when it's closed! Ridiculous.
Restaurant is non existent other than signage. No notice of closure and still accepting online orders. Beware. This company is absolutely horrible at communication and has not informed anyone of their departure. Beleaf should not be in business at all.
For a Sunday, this place wasn't that busy at noon. I was looking forward to their vegan offerings. Happy to see Rodeo 39 have an option for vegans. Unfortunately they were sold out of the chicken nuggets and corn dog. 3 stars Rodeo burger. Recommend to ask for less sauce. This was drowning in bbq sauce so it overpowered the dish. Would have liked the bacon to be more crispy, same for the onion rings. The meat patty itself was flavorful but on the thin side. 3 stars Fries. The fries were overly salted, but the texture was great. A little bit like McDonalds actually. This was fried to a golden crisp. Overall, not sure I'd go back. It was a little underwhelming.
