Son's Döner Kebab - Statesboro

In town for the last couple days. We wanted gyros for the whole staff. Everyone figured out what we wanted, called to order nobody answered, so we figured they were busy and went there to order. They're closed. I dunno there was no sign on the door or anything. Wasted an hr trying to figure out why nobody is answering the phone for them to be closed. Now we are ordering a pizza almost 2 hrs later. They're not happy lol. Food: 1

Came here for the first time. I am from Germany and Döner places are quite common over there! This was literally the best Döner we have had since moving back stateside! The owner overheard me speaking German to our son and started making conversation with me right away in German! Keep on checking in with us if we liked it and if everything was ok! Super friendly and welcoming atmosphere and great service! Will definitely start eating there on a regular bases even it’s an hour drive for us! 10 out of 10 recommend this place!!!! Thank you for giving me a little bit of home tonight!

I started working in the area and discovered this place on my lunch one day 4 years ago. Doner was always my favorite...my mother worked for a German chef when I was a child. This is my absolute favorite place to eat! The garlic yogurt sauce is to die for! Even though I do not live in the area, I drive two hours just to come have lunch or dinner. It never disappoints me!
