If you love spicy food, you 'll love the food here. They have a host of traditional dish if you 're tired of eating 'western style ' Chinese food. There 's just something about that Dried Stir-fried Spicy Fish that melts my soul! The boiled beef was amazing too! It was definitely hot. This is definitely a place you want to visit over and over again.
This place was good and I enjoyed the food here, however, it was a bit oily and was not as flavorful as I expected . The portions are huge and the restaurant is spacious. If they reduced the oil and added a little bit of a flavor profile, this food would too notch. The prices are very reasonable for the portions they offer. I would recommend everyone to try this place and decide for themselves. Service seemed basic yet competent. They don’t have excessively friendly servers like a typical American restaurant but they are busy bodies and get your order right. Overall a good place to visit with family.
The best szechuan chinese food in the area. Friendly staff and good service. They kept checking on us and made sure our drinks were topped off. The food was amazing and the portions were large. Everything was excellent. The vegetables were fresh and not overcooked. The sauces were good and not overly thick. The only thing I would point out was it was a lot less spicy than I was told, but everything was delicious. Highly recommend. This is going to be a new regular for us.
I can't say enough good things about this place. By far, without a doubt, the best Chinese restaurant in the metro Detroit area. The food is always amazing and the portions are large. We always end up ordering with our eyes and get way too much food! If you haven't been here before, definitely worth checking this place out!
I 'd say this is great authentic Chinese food in the Metro Detroit. The dishes are seasoned well with the numbing Szechuan Spice. I recommend the eggplant 鱼香茄子 . I love eggplant! This dish is one of my favorite for the sauce! In Chinese, we call this '下饭 ' or 'Goes well with rice ', or literally 'Makes the rice go down '. It 's really delicious! My friend 's must-order is the Crispy Squid with Spicy Salt and Pepper. The squid is cut with little spikes. The dish is garnished with jalapeño and the squid sits on a bed of lettuce. We also got Cumin Lamb. I like lamb for the flavor. I like to order the cumin lamb because it reminds me of Chinese skewers that you would find from hawkers on the streets. The lamb was cooked to crispy and chewiness. So satisfying! Finally, we ordered a cold dish: the Peppercorn Beef Tripe. This is the numbing spice that you would expect at a Szechuan restaurant! The beef tripe is cold in your mouth and then all of the sudden, you 'll feel your lips and everything the tripe touches succumb to the numbing. The tripe is chewy like a tendon. Delicious! Everything came with a large bowl of rice. I noticed that the rice was soggy and clumpy, more like rice clumps rather than the grains. But it still serves the purpose of being a staple to the meal. The waitress was attentive to our table as well, making sure we were all set with our dishes and refilling our water.
