Love this place! Lots of recent cycling mags, pictures and other memorabilia to keep you entertained, whilst you dine on a freshly made sandwiches, cakes and the best coffee around. My only negative point is that if you arrive too late, there may not be enough fresh bread to make a sandwich, but that's only happened once and is possibly a consequence of how good this place is. My suggestion: get there early and enjoy a sandwich with walnut and date bread. Lovely!
Popped in while passing as I needed a drink. Had a very good flat white, and a Ham and cheddar toastie on soda bread. The toastie was good, the melted cheese in particular having a very good flavour. The staff were friendly with quick service. Tables were clean and the place looked well kept. Will pop in again when passing. Thought the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food.
Pup friendly cafe with great sandwich/light bites menu, lovely cakes on display, offering vegan options too. Great coffee and lovely decor. Highly recommended for a nibble or place to relax with a good brew or cuppa joe.
I have been going to this cafe for ages now, it does great veggie and vegan options and the lady who used to run the cafe was really friendly and warm. However recently I have been going with a friend and our two boys aged 3 and increasingly felt more and more uncomfortable. The lady who now runs the cafe seems to really dislike us being there with our boys, we try and make sure they are not disruptive to other customers and are well behaved, they don't sit there silently of course but they are not naughty. She never says hello, even though we were going once a week and now I fell there is such hostility that we won't go anymore. Really sad as it was the best cafe we found in Stockport. I just hope this gets seen by the owner so she is aware.
