Christy's Cafe - Stockton

Everything about this place is great. I was just passing through a place to eat. Food was very good. Prices were reasonable service was very friendly. I will be back.

Staff was really nice, and restaurant was pretty spacious, cute old fashion diner. The service was really quick. The salad bar wasn’t really that great and the food itself was okay. But overall, there isn’t too many restaurant options in Stockton since it’s such a small town.

I usually do not leave any reviews, but i was really impressed by Christy's Cafe. I was visiting an old Army buddy in Missouri when I stopped in there for lunch. I Live in New Jersey and do most of my eating out in different types of restaurants, diners and fast food locations. I was very impressed by their service. It was very friendly and courteous to say the least. They made me feel like I have lived there my whole life.I stopped in for lunch and ordered the marinated grilled chicken breast sandwich. I have to say that of all the Chicken Sandwiches I have ever had, this was by far the best I have ever tasted in my 57 years on this earth. It was grilled perfectly, the Toasted bun was perfectly toasted so that it was not soggy like a lot of places leave their buns. I was very tasty and very filling. I would recommend it if you have not tried it.I would love to visit my friend again on my next trip and have that chicken sandwich again. Again I was very impressed.

First time customers had the breakfast buffet would not recommend. the biscuits were hard as rock's, the eggs were a solid mass in the pan. the chunky potatoes were more boiled and gray. the only part edible was the sausage and bacon unless you drown everything in Luke warm gravy or your 1/2 a glass drink with no refills. order at your own risk

Sunday 1-14-24 we went for the breakfast buffet, and either the food was Luke warm or cold, When I was asked by the waitress, If everything was okay, We explained to her that the food was either cold or luke warm, She checked the water, And not the food, Then when we went to pay, Their a t m was not working due to how cold it was, Which is understandable, I had all of the money but two dollars and ninety five cents, And I was going to bring that back, But I was informed by the Brett service. Lady not to worry about it that I was close enough that it was too cold to worry about it, But the lady that was coming to my table informed me to go to the atm. And bring back the two dollars and ninety five cents. I'm questioning if i'm going to go back.
