Is a little pricer than what you would expect as we paid about £35 for 2 baguettes 2 lots of cake and some drinks. Service was quick and efficient though and the food is good quality. We'll worth a visit for the large scone alone always a highlight in Stratford.
The cakes look great. We had a cream tea but the scones had too much baking powder in them so we each only ate one of the two scones. There was only one 42g pot of jam which was only enough for 1 scone anyway. The menus and table were sticky. We (4 of us) were disappointed. There's a lot if choice in Stratford, we should have gone elsewhere.
Stumbled across this cafe while in Stratford-upon-avon for a weekend trip and what a delightful little place. The cakes tempted us in initially but we had baguettes for our lunch and took cake away with us. We were both impressed with the food when it arrived, good size very fresh great for the price.
A great little cafe that serves a wide range of sandwiches, cakes, pies, various flavours of sausage roll and a very reasonably priced as with everything else on the menu afternoon tea, also pretty much everything on the menu can be taken away!
The hero of the patisserie, Jumbo Scone. I must say this is something one must try, super delicious, eye catching. Variety of pastries all of them look so tantalising, can definitely leave you drooling.
